The Swiss-Liechtenstein Building Technology Association (suissetec) is an industry and employer association. It comprises around 3,500 member companies from the fields of plumbing/building enclosure, sanitary/water/gas, heating and ventilation/air conditioning/cooling. With approximately 85 employees, suissetec operates locations in all language regions of Switzerland.
Initial situation
In the course of the digital transformation, new needs for collaboration arose among suisstec employees. The decentralized solutions that were used often led to knowledge silos and made company-wide collaboration more difficult. IT faced increasingly complex challenges with the historically grown, heterogeneous IT landscape.
Approach
The project participants from MondayCoffee and suissetec introduced the new digital work platform suissetec365 & Microsoft Teams. The special feature: Instead of the standardized Office 365, MondayCoffee's proven best practice solution was implemented directly, making the use of Microsoft tools, simplified and more intuitive.
Results
With the introduction of the new digital work platform, suissetec has succeeded in making the leap from an outdated on-premise system to the cloud. Today, the industry and employer association is characterized by a structured digital and modern way of working.
